Public Transportation to the Grand Prix
For those who prefer ground or public ferry transportation, Rivevents has got you covered. Public transportation with trains or buses to the Grand Prix can be challenging due to the large crowds. However, we offer a budget-friendly trip by booking a ferry shuttle from Nice. Please note that the ferry shuttle docks at Port Fontvieille and not at Port Hercule like our private tenders do, due to restrictions—boats over 9 meters can’t access Port Hercule, the race site. If you find yourself in Fontvieille, don’t worry. You can either take a smaller taxi boat ride from the dock or enjoy a 30-minute walk to reach Port Hercules. We also arrange private minivan transfers or larger buses tailored for bigger groups.
Fontvieille Harbour
Fontvieille Harbour is located to the south of Port Hercules. Although the track does not pass through this area of Monaco, the marina is quieter and remains open at all times – unlike Port Hercules, which can’t be accessed from the street during race and practice sessions.
